Bagong Buhay Lodge Centennial Anniversary

BAGONG BUHAY LODGE WILL CELEBRATE ITS 100TH ANNIVERSARY

Bagong Buhay Lodge was originally constituted under the Gran Logia Regional de Filipinas, under the Sovereign Obedience of the Gran Oriente de Espanol of Madrid, Spain on August 11, 1907. The Lodge was numbered Lodge No 291 with WM Jose A Reyes 4th Degree as its 1st Worshipful Master. On February 15,1917, the Lodge left the GLRF and affiliated with the Grand Lodge of the Philippine Islands, was re-chartered and renumbered as Lodge No 17. On September 10, 2006, the Lodge members in a Stated Meeting unanimously passed and approved a Lodge Resolution for the Lodge to leave the GLP and to join and form the Independent Grand Lodge of the Philippine Islands (IGLPI). The Lodge was re-chartered and renumbered Lodge No 4.

The programme on August 11, 2007 are as follows :

1. Motorcade - 2:00 p.m. -from the Cavite Coastal Bay City Subdivision to Bagong Buhay Lodge.
2. Eucharistic Celebration – 3:00 p.m. – Bagong Buhay Masonic Temple
3. Wreath Laying Ceremonies - Memorial Marker
4. Program Proper:- VW Artemio B Tadiar Hall
a. Pambansang Awit
b. Invocation – Bro Benjamin Cruz, Chaplain
c. Lodge History – VW Petronilo Bulanhagui, DGL
d. Opening Remarks – WM Antonio C Paulite II
e. Introduction of the Guest of Honor – Bro Councilor Mike Ponsiones
f. Address of Guest of Honor – Honorable Mayor Bro Bernardo Paredes
g. Presentation of Mementoes and Awards
h. Address of the Grand Master, IGLPI – MW Jaime V Bantolo
i. Fellowship
j. Ballroom Dancing and Raffle

Attire is Smart Casual for men.; ladies – as appropriate. Our sisters are invited.

All members of Bagong Buhay Lodge are invited. Please pass to our Brethren in the country and to those abroad. Special invitations were also disseminated individually.
